Preventing an Ultra-Talk 3000 zoning panel from triggering AUX heat prematurely

Per https://hvac-talk.com/vbb/showthread.php?2223510 I've got an heat pump that runs quite efficiently even at -10F. Unfortunately, the multi-zoned system is connected to an Ultra-Talk 3000 zoning panel where the lowest AUX lockout temperature is 20F.

Per page 4 "The UT3000’s PI Control feature constantly monitors and wants to match the supply air temperature in the duct, to the active operational target setpoint. The UT3000 achieves this by increasing or decreasing the SYSTEM (SYS) demand output, trying to match the Supply Air Temperature delivered from the HVAC system, to the active Cool Target, Gas Target or HP Target Set-Point."

So maybe I can monitor my Supply Temperature when it's -5F outside, and set SAS HP TGT (defined on page 4 as the "desired heating supply air sensor temperature target") to the value I get from the heat pump. That way, the algorithm will get satisfied before crossing the W2 Threshold and triggering AUX heating. Does that make sense?
