Hi all, I was looking for a 4-ton heat pump to hook up to a central air handler, and I got referred to these 48k btu mini-splits with air handlers (ecomfort.com/cooling/ducted-air-handler-mini-splits.html filtered by 48k indoor unit size). I'm interested just because of the smaller size, noise, and better efficiency. I see a small handful of articles saying that these are good alternatives to regular central heat pumps but at the same time, I see very few user reviews for them. Most articles still talk about the true split system instead of a central system. Are these just too new, or are they a bad idea?
