Our older gas furnace and gas hot water heater (50 gallon tank) are located in a partially finished basement. They consume a lot of oxygen from that space in order to combust and then send it up the chimney.
Looking at the 95% efficient furnace and tankless hot water heater means fresh air can be piped in and then vented right out via PVC.
How much would this fresh air coming in via PVC improve the basement/house air quality?
