We just had a new Bryant Preferred 124ANS Compact AC unit (Called a Suitcase, 66db) installed on ground on side of the house. Unit is surrounded on 4 sides (2 sides by the house, 1 by a fence and 1 by a gate. Unit shakes ground (and house) and is loud. We want to limit the shaking and noise from this unit. Ideas?
1) Install rubber vibration dampers underneath unit between unit and cement pad?
2) Install sound absorption pads on house and fence to absorb sound?
3) Install sound blanket over compressor.
Any advise greatly appreciated!
