I had a new Bryant HVAC installed in February. It is a ground unit. Due to Covid I didn’t get my inspection until September. The inspector found there was no condensation line installed and ordered a repair to include the condensation line a trap and riser. There is water under the unit that has been there since install. My question is should I be worried about damage to my HVAC due to the water accumulating for 8 months? Also do I need to worry about long term damage due to rust?
