Carrier Infinity Central A/C system & dehumidify feature

Hello, we have a Carrier Infinity Central A/C system that has a dehumidifier feature. The system was installed in 2016. One cooling zone for two floors. On a side note, just last week we had our installer come back to investigate a blower motor fan fault 41 code notification we had been receiving on and off for a couple months and he ended up replacing the motor. I’m now trying to determine if there is an issue or not with the dehumidifier that is part of the system. Under Cooling Humidity, I have set to dehumidify to 48 degrees. The humidity per the thermostat has been reading 55-60. In general, when should the dehumidifier kick on? If it has been working, why is the humidity still been consistently in the 55-60. Do I always need to enable the “overcool up to 3 degrees..” to get the humidity down to the 48 range? Thanks
