Howdy Y'all,
I have a Corsaire Rheem model FGPJ-10NBRJR residential A/C unit where the blower fan isn't running and I strongly suspect the IFC (control board) is failing. The blower fan relay activates correctly, but the blower fan doesn't run. When I power the blower fan directly it runs great. There doesn't appear to be any voltage coming from the control board to the blower fan power input. It's possible there's something else getting in the way that I'm not finding, so additional diagnostic help is appreciated.
Couple questions. I'm not finding specific replacement for the IFC of my specific model - but I probably haven't searched enough.
Does anyone know of a good source for a replacement IFC?
Is there a more generic that will suffice?
Can anyone point me to the difference between the FGPJ series and the newer RGPN series? Not sure whether the newer controller will work on the older model.
Thanks much!!
Eric
