Need to replace Eavp. coil?

Turned out that my 7 year old AC stopped working off and on this summer. Had PSEG run a dye test which indicated a leak in the evap coil. So PSEG refilled the R410a refrigerant once and the AC is running since then. Now PSEG is telling me to replace the Evap coil (3T) as well as the condenser (2.5T).

Didn't expect this unpleasant surprise now. Quite unprepared for this big expense. Trying to minimize the repair/replacement cost.

Do I need to replace both? or can I get by with replacing only the evap coil (3T)?

Need to hear from your experience.
Thanks.
