So, I built a guest house 6 months ago and contractors HVAC guy was less than competent. I had problems with the system leaking and was able to get that fixed but I still have this incessant bubbling noise coming from the wall units. I have had 5 HVAC guys out and I got 5 different opinions. Leaking in pipe, leakage in main unit, drainage problem, nothing wrong.. Ugh. I have had a ductless in the past and had no problems but this system is terrible. I have asked each HVAC guy if he has leak detection equipment and they all say yes but when they get out here no one ever seems to use it. They all want to either do nothing or replace the dual zone system which they are willing to do for 10K. How generous. I wish I could post the video of the noise but dont think it allows video, only pics. Any ideas? I live in Orange county, southern california.
