First post so please take it easy on me.
I have learned the hard way that you can have all the fanciest appliances in the world and it really doesn't matter if you can't get them serviced. I am in the process of purchasing a commercial reach-in refrigerator and freezer. The models I am considering are the True T-12F-HC (or T-19) and the True True T-12-HC (or T-19) versus the Hoshizaki ER1A-FS and the Hoshizaki EF1A-FS. Rather than get sucked in by all the marketing hype I figured I would ask the people who work with these every day. I did reach out to a fairly local service tech (who could service either brand). I am in rural NE Pennsylvania. He indicated that they were fairly much the same although he did think True's warranty customer service was outstanding. From scouring this and other forums the Hoshi gets some good reviews.
So what say you? Is there something else I should be considering? The Traulsens are just out of my league.
