I've had a slow loop leak for 15 years. Since new, and the company has done nothing to address it. They want to tell me it's normal, blah blah. I've given up and am changing companies. Even the new company doesn't have high hopes of any leak resolution. That said, it's a slow leak (I assume), as it takes 3-4 months before it looses pressure (5 ton field).
Is there a quality product I can recommend my new service company consider that is perhaps better then others? They are going to service the entire loop, I believe I understand the cycle it with their own equipment several times to pull air from it. However they tell me they have a very low success rate. Worse, I'm going to have some expense in this, so I'd rather invest in the highest chance of success possible.
And, yes, I know I choose my original installer poorly. FWIW, they had been well regarded, but the son took over and....
We won't even talk about the ducting failures....
Thanks!!
