I had a previous thread that discussed duct replacement and the best way to proceed given a basement utilizing existing package unit. Here https://hvac-talk.com/vbb/threads/22...AC-rabbit-hole
So now I have decided that the Heat pump water heater and the new (yet to be installed) whole house dehumidifier should each have a dedicated return and be tied into the supply trunk, I have some questions my contractor brushed aside as not that important (and I agree probably not during his visit today but I dont think he had a good answer).
My questions are
1. Are these silly questions?
2. how how to include the heatpump hot water heater in heating load calculation(do I need average gallons per day of hot water and average inlet water temp)?
3.How/should the HPWH and dehumidifier be addressed in the manual D? Max additional air flow could be 5-600 cfm.
