After paying $*** for 100 gallons of oil I am wondering if heat strips can be added to my system. Have luxair 82% furnace using a .70 nozzle and a two ton heat pump (15yrs old) with change over around 28 degrees, tstat has outdoor temp sensor. Use between 300-400 gallons of oil per winter.
1800 sf ranch with basement built in late 60's new windows in 80's, ne ohio close to youngstown. New inverter hp would be nice but hate to see cost of that.
Electric is .10 kwh.
