Hi -
I currently live in NJ. We have two units - one for the upstairs (bedrooms) and one for the ground floor (kitchen, living room, etc.). The house has no basement - just a crawl space.
The unit for upstairs living area is 18 yrs old and needs to be replaced. It is located in the attic. I asked my A/C vendor to provide me with a quote now instead of waiting until Spring of next year.
The house is approximately 2,900 square feet.
I received the below quote for the upstairs unit.
EQUIPMENT: RUUD 2 ton 13 seer R410 condenser (RA1324AJ1NA); RUUD 2-ton evaporator A coil (RCF2417STAMCA)
INCLUSIONS: R11 flush and reconnect refrigerant lines, new condenser pad, High voltage electrical whip, SS2 evaporator safety, EZ trap, new 30x30 drain pan with cc1 switch 10 years parts warranty and 2 Year labor warranty
DUCTING: Install new RUUD evaporator onto existing furnace and retro fit to existing bonnet.
COST: $*****
Is this a fair price? Anything in particular stand out to you - good or bad? Any advice / feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
