Hi all- I am needing to get my ductwork replaced. It is in the crawlspace under the house, with very little clearance- definitely a belly crawler. The furnace is in the garage. (This is in the Tulsa OK area). I've had 3 pros out to give me an estimate and each said something different- the 1st said he recommended putting the ducts in the attic but that it would require a new furnace also- the next one said he would move the furnace I have to the attic & run the ducts there, then the 3rd said I should not use the attic because the heat up there would be hard on the equipment & condensation could cause damage to my ceilings. There's not a huge difference on cost between any of them, but I'm unsure which is the better way to go. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
