I'm getting a new evaporator coil because my current one failed. It produced lots of aluminum oxide (ALO) that traveled through my flexible vents into my house. I'd like to prevent the ALO from entering my house when they're installing and testing the new evap coil.
My Questions: 1) I'd like to put a large garbage bag around each vent so the polluted air blows into it, not my house. Would this interfere with installation and testing?
2) Do you have any other ideas for containing the polluted air?
Thanks in advance for your help.
