New System - Lennox/Daikin

Hello guys,

With the recent oil price increase, we're looking to switch to a heat pump.
Unfortunately I don't have any experience with heat pump yet...

We are looking to install three units:
1. Basement room (about 150 sq/ft)
2. Living space area (900 sq/ft + corridor/stairwell)
3. Master bedroom (250 sq/ft + corridor)

We got a number of quotes, cannot decide between these two:

1. Lennox - $**** CAD through the Costco (Costco rebate/cashback about $**** CAD)
MWMC009S4-1P - basement room & master bedroom
MWMC018S4-1p - living room
MLB030S4M-1P - outdoor unit

2. Daikin - $*****
Daikin Multi 12,000 Indoor, FTXS12LVJU - living room & master bedroom
Daikin Multi 9,000 Indoor, FTXS09LVJU - basement room
Aurora Daikin 3MXL24 Outdoor, 3MXL24RMVJU - outdoor unit

The price after rebates is about the same.
The warranty for parts for both system is 12 years and labor is 10 years.

A few questions:
1. What do you think about these units?
2. Reliability, efficiency and comfort?
3. I think the Daikin 12,000 BTU might be a bit small for the living space, no?
4. What other parameters/details should I compare or be aware of?

Thank you!
