I have (2) Rheem/Ruud LP fired furnaces installed new in 2014, Model U96VA 0702317MSA. I recently installed a residential solar energy system that produces quite a bit more electricity than we actually consume. I'm wondering if I can install an electric heat strip kit in these furnaces to allow me to use some of that excess energy to heat with while still having my LP gas capabilities? Thanks!
