Anyone have any experience with wall-mounting a conventional condenser to a wood-framed house? I'm mostly curious as to how much noise may transfer inside that otherwise wouldn't if it were ground mounted. I'm not finding many examples of this online, which may be a bad sign?
These DiversiTech 48" brackets (model acb-48) should allow adequate clearance away from the house(12" vs the suggested min of 10" in manual). The unit is amana aszc180481, which weighs 308 lbs. It's going up on a vinyl wall so it'll be utilizing some shim blocking with longer lags.
A couple motivations for the wall mount are to be able to easily mow under/around the machine and to allow me to excavate the perimeter of the house to better seal & grade the foundation next year. I also live in a high snow area and want to elevate by about 2', but probably more like 3' if it were wall mounted.
