$ to replace A Coil or $ for new Bosch Heat Pump?

Hey there. Have a 12 year old, 5-ton Rheem Heat Pump that started leaking refrigerant lately. Called one company out and they located a leak (probably the only leak, but not sure) in the indoor A Coil. Quoted me $ to replace that but strongly recommended just replacing the entire system with a Bosch. My thoughts so far are:

1) Feels bad to ditch an entire system after only 12 years because of one replaceable part. Not even money-wise... just eco-wise.

2) At the same time, feels wrong to spend $ on the cheaper option when I may need to replace the whole thing within a few years anyway.

So I guess my two questions are:

1) Is it worth shopping around a bit on that $ service? If it were more like $, that would probably be a no-brainer for now. If the whole system went out in 2-5 years, I wouldn't feel too bad about that.

2) I know everyone has their own opinion on brands, but any red flags on the Bosch recommendation? I have my own highly customized home automation system with programmable thermostats so I'd like to use a system that allows me to keep those (I understand Trane perhaps requires its own?).

House is about 4500 square feet across three equally split levels served by three HVAC zones. Puget Sound.

Many thanks...
