Multiple Mitsubishi MXC-3C condensers & MSZFH Mini Split - lack of controls

Folks,

I am looking for counsel how to better manage a brand new system we just installed. We installed 6 condensers & 15 air handlers which each have their own remote(SPG01?). These are installed in class room type building that is being used as a day care. Day care is renting from us so I am trying to automate the on/off & temp settings so that I don't have 8 different rooms being controlled by people who don't pay the bills(if you know what I mean). First question - we are now in a season that today could be 75 and tomorrow could be 55. How can I control the units when I have fluctuations like this during this transitional season? If the answer is set to auto - that does not seem to work when you have the MXC condensers with multiple heads attached or at least that is what I read in manual. I tried testing the auto today and I got heat coming out of 1 and cold air coming out of the other yet room was colder than set temperature. So am I understanding this right that if you have multiple heads to one outside unit you can't use auto? If yes then anyone got any answers to better manage mini splits? How about third party controllers/thermostats that would work? I would be willing to give up some features of heat pump if I knew that my settings were consistent and easy to manage as no one is onsite in this building day to day.
