Mold Remediation Timeline

I had been dealing with a musty odor in my house. We arranged to have the ducts cleaned. The vendor was NADCA certified, and upon inspecting found mold within the furnace and duct trunk. They recommended that we get a UV Light in-duct air purifier because it would ensure that even the mold that wasn't plainly visible was being treated and would stop it from recurring. I thought about it while they were working and did some quick research and ultimately agreed. I'm not expecting miracles, but I am expecting that after a thorough cleaning AND the install of the air purifier/UV light, I should not still be smelling the musty smell.

What is a realistic timeline to suspect something was done wrong or something more needs to be done? They definitely sold me on it being fixed immediately, but honestly, I think it smells worse now and I'm feeling like my allergies are acting up even though they weren't before which makes me worry something worse is happening that I can't see.

We have no visible moisture spots and I put up a dehumidifier just to see if there was moisture and it collected virtually no water over a 24 hour period. I have a plumber coming to inspect on Friday just to be sure.

But am I just jumping the gun and that smell will take longer to go away? Is there a more realistic timeframe?

Or does something sound sketchy?
