Hello,
before I post my question, I want to express my appreciation for whoever started this site. THIS IS AWESOME!
So, I am German, living in south Florida and about 13 month ago we got a new A/C
4 ton Carrier 16.0 Seer 'Performance Series' split system.
On the old system, don't remember what it was, I flushed the draining system twice a year according to what I learnt from a few YouTube video.
Unfortunately the new indoor piping system/ drainage system looks quite different, so before I experiment I want to get as much professional help as possible.
Question: Does anybody know of an online tutorial (YouTube or manufacturer or ...) that would show me what maintenance work I should do once or twice a year on our new system?
I appreciate any input, thanks, Richard
P.S. When the company installed the unit, they said the first maintenance call or session is included. However, in the meantime the company merged with another company and that is no longer the case. My plan was to watch the person doing it the first time in order to know what to do.
P.P.S. If my question is considered 'DIY advice' then I apologize and just delete the tread.
