due to some air quality issue I am having, I called a tech to check. He thinks everything seems to be okay. However, his recommendation is replacing the coil to fix the issue while it looks clean. it's 5 year old trane coil. I had mold test done before he came and it's not mold issue per lab.
when I asked him why I need to replace rather than get it cleaned, he said the only way to clean 100 percent is pull the coil out and clean. the spray foam will clean just some. I am kinda of confused.. The tech is not making any money for sure as it's 100 percent covered under the plan I already purchased if I move on. However, I am frustrated with this suggestions. he did say he does not know the reason of my issue but try the replacement. if that does not work, replace the supply planum to replace insulation.(this is not covered)
