I have a Daikin DM80VC Furnace installed in October 2021 as part of a Fit VRV zoned system. The furnace is installed vertical in the attic and has a bypass duct with static pressure damper installed. 2 immediate things I have noticed about the installation is the base that has the up-flow blower section of the furnace has a field-fabricated sheet metal blank-off and is not insulated. The other issue is the bypass damper jacketing had a fair amount of condensate in it. I shut off the static pressure damper and drained the ductwork. Instead of reopening the bypass I am allowing air to "bleed" about 20% at each zone damper so as to relieve the static pressure.
The issues I want to address are the uninsulated sheet metal base of the blower section and the fan purge noise we have in the smallest zone. The purge setting is at its lowest at 25%.
