I've just finished installing my ERV and was researching how to measure the pressure drop to balance it, but I can't find a consensus on how to use the measurements to determine what needs to be adjusted.
My ERV has 4 probe ports on the side of the unit, and the manual has you put the manometer high/low leads on either end of the core for one air stream (both leads on intake, or both leads on exhaust), which has me confused.
Wouldn't this only measure the pressure drop of the air going through the core for a single air stream?
How would comparing the core's pressure drop for the intake against that of the exhaust be a valid indicator of not being balanced?
