Static Pressure

When I bought my house 12 years ago I had one bedroom furthest from the HVAC that was always cold in the winter time or hot in the summer time. Being a ranch home with a full semi-finished basement I have access to some of the ductwork and was able to seal all the joints which helped make a little difference. I bought an anemometer and checked all of the supply vents and found that the bedroom furthest from the HVAC had very little air coming out of it compared to the rest of the vents. None of the duct work had any dampeners in them so I was able to remove each run from the main trunk and install a manual dampeners in each supply line. This allowed me to balance my system with the anemometer and get the farthest bedroom better airflow which solved my problem. I did the best I could to get the same airflow out of every supply vent and have had no issues after that.

I just replaced my 20 + year old system with a new one which has a variable speed blower. When the installer was dialing everything in he measured static pressure, something that I have never had done before. Reading online and here I have found that 0.5" WC is the ideal static pressure but mine is reading 0.72" WC on the high stage. Looking in my manual it states that the minimum static pressure is 0.20" and the maximum is 1.0" and I fall between that. Should I be concerned about my 0.72" static pressure and maybe it has something to do with the dampeners I installed years ago? The install tech didn't seem too concerned about it but I'm curious if I need to be.
