I have a company replacing my compressor. It is an old system with R22 in it. They are going to replace the compressor and the line sets mods. They also are doing electrical mods, and evacuate the lines. The freon in it now is fine meaning there are no leaks. Is this the proper way to do this or should all the coils be replaced, because of the different freon, and do I really need new line sets. Also they are charging me extra $520.00 for the line sets and elect. mods. Thank you for any advice.
