We are currently getting bids on replacing our older furnace. It's working, just want to get a new one before it croaks. Anyway, one of the competing contractors has proposed a Trane S8X1B060M3PSAA. When looking up this model, it seems to be several years old. At least back to 2018. Is it cool to install in 2022, a furnace from 2018? I don't have the serial number to look up the exact manufacture date so I am a bit leary given this model number doesn't seem to be one that Trane currently carries. Plus, I saw another page where this model was listed as Discontinued. Should I avoid?
