I have a Lennox 13HPD unit that requires (and has) the x2658 outside sensor wired to my Lennox 51M33 thermostat via a pair of "T" connectors.
I want to upgrade the thermostat with one that has WiFi so that I can adjust settings when traveling. I noticed that Emerson Sensi and Ecobee have thermostats that claim to work with dual-fuel systems but use internet to get local temp.readings and do not have a way to hard wire an external temp. sensor. Is this an acceptable/reliable option with my current Lennox HPD unit?
