I'm having wall registers installed in my finished basement which was recommended by the contractor I've had look at it. They recommended putting them near the ceiling because it gets better throw across the room? How far down should they be from the ceiling? I'm a little worried about getting dust on the ceiling. I assume this is a normal practice for wall registers? I've only ever had floor or ceiling registers so I wasn't sure how best to consider this recommendation.
