I have an Aprilaire crawl space dehumidifier which isn’t doing much. It’s outputting some water, but mere cups a day. It’s pushing out hot air as well, but not the pizza oven inferno I’m used too. This is my third unit over 8 years, and at 1k+ a pop I’m not too excited about buying another with such a potential short lifespan.
I clean the filter each year and make sure there are no blockages on either air side. I’m not sure what I could be doing wrong to contribute to such an early death.
