Outdoor ambient 100 degrees, indoor ambient 77 degrees. 4-month-old Amana 410A SEER-16 2-stage 2-ton heat pump. Outdoor unit is 2-ton (ASZC160241CA); indoor unit is 2-1/2 ton (AVPTC31C14BB) TXV unit, programmed for a 2-ton outdoor unit. Lineset is short (maybe 12). Airflow in stage-1 is set at 495 CFM.
Running in stage-1 I hear a distinct, fairly loud gurgling sound coming from the liquid line at the indoor coil.
Would this be normal operation at these temperatures, or does it indicate a problem with the charge in the unit?
Appreciate any help! Nick
