So i have a whole house 4-ton hvac. and wanted to know when do you know if a seperate return is needed for a room even if the door is cut high leaving a 2 inch gap in the bottom to allow more air flow.
It seems at night leaving the door open during sleep will allow the room to get so much cooler then closing the door.
So how do you know when a room is in need a a seperate return vs using the whole house return only.
