Anyone install a Bosch IDS 2.0 in a mobile home? Will it work?

I've got a licensed installer set to replace my ComfortMaker 3 ton, 13 SEER heat pump setup with a Bosch IDS 2.0 (3ton, 20 SEER). If I'm going to replace my system I want to get the most efficient unit I can.

My house is 1800sq ft modular (no doublewide), one level. I have two 16" returns on opposite ends of the house that return to the air handler. I have 15 4x10 registers in the floor on the perimeter of the house. For ducting, after the air handler, there is a large flex duct in the crawlspace that connects two long metal duct runs (one on each side of house), with ~6" flex duct off of the metal run to each floor register.

The installer is warrantying install/labor for one year, on top of Bosch warranties. He says there will be no issues with my duct work, and that he wouldn't install it if he was going to anticipate problems.

On the other side, I have heard that my ductwork is trash and the high pressure setup will prevent me from ever having anything higher SEER unless I completely redo ducting.

I am nervous that after install, there will be some HVAC gremlin that completely ruins my system, solely because of my ductwork. Am I wrong?
