Last night, my A/C suddenly stopped dead. I went to the thermostat and the screen was black and unresponsive.
After I scheduled a service call - it will take a week - the A/C started up again.
A few minutes later the system shut down again and again restarted. This happened a total of three times in one hour.
I finally went to bed and it seemed to run ok during the night.
I looked for a fault code in the thermostat log, and there was a UI - 160 humidity sensor fault but it was a week old. It was 36 consecutive times. The same fault happened several days in a row last January, with 1 and 5 consecutive times.
I was wondering if the system or the thermostat was automatically rebooting and if so, what might be causing that?
Thanks,
Frank
