One mini split blowing cold air, the other blowing room temp air?

New system, everything's clean. The 24k internal unit blows cold. The 12k unit was blowing cold but suddenly started blowing just room temperature air. I checked and the air coming out of the vents was the same temp as the it was set to (air blowing 72, room temp was 74 and the temp was set to 72). I checked that I had it set to cooling. It had two green lights on the air handler. Then I cycled through the different modes back to cooling mode and it started getting much colder again.

Mitsubishi unit, new. Did it just stop blowing cold air because it was so close to the set temp? It's only about 60 outside but it was 77 inside due to how much glass we have here. Damn hothouse in here.

With both units running on cool mode, the temp went down but the humidity up. I suppose oversized for the relatively low temp? Once I turned off the 12k unit and only put the 24k unit on the lowest fan setting it seemed much happier and the humidity went back down, but my girlfriend asked me to turn it down because it's too damn cold lol.

But my question...what gives with one unit blowing room temp air in cooling mode until I cycled through the options again and then it started getting cold immediately? Reminds me of the old Nintendo cartridges where you had to blow on it and it would work again lol
