Hello forum!
One of the two ComfortNet CTK04 thermostats stopped reacting to touch and the screen is blank. The thermostats are about two years old.
We replaced the CR2032 coin battery but still no signs of life.
Is there a way to reboot the thermostat?
The Operating Manual and the System Installation Guide documents do not mention anything related to a reboot.
The Operating Manual states in case of difficulty when the screen is blank to
Check circuit breaker and reset if necessary.
Make sure power switch at heating & cooling system is on.
Make sure furnace door is closed securely.
None of the above applies as the HVAC seems to be working properly.
When I access the thermostats via RedLINK, the "sleeping" one reports Outdoor temperature of 81F while the "good" one reports a temperature 73F that matches the current conditions. Also commands to the "sleeping" thermostat via redLINK are not acknowledged or executed.
Any ideas or recommendations what to do? Thank you in advance.
O I
PS Can I test by exchanging the "good" one with the "sleeping" one, or am I going to confuse the system?
