I have a 3 zone heat pump and I wonder if I could improve it with a controller that would change the fan speed based on the number of zones that are calling. It seems stupid that it runs the same fan speed when one zone calls, as it does when two or three zones call. I want to be able to do this without forcing stage two heat if it is in stage one, and I want to do it in stage two heat when it needs stage two. My blower is variable, and the zones are controlled by Honeywell HZ432. The DIP switches would allow for a variance of from 800 to 1340 in stage one, and from 1200 to 2000 in stage two, but the controller for the blower doesn't seem smart enough to adjust it very much using static pressure. Any ideas?
