I bought a house with a 10 yr old Skuttle steam humidifier model 60 hooked up to manual Skuttle 0-0055-001 humidistat. This winter I noticed that the humidifier seems to go on every hour even though I have it at the lowest setting just before the off indicator. However my Ecobee shows that humidier is reading at 45-50%. I think I have a bad humidistat and want to replace with a digital humidistat. I couldn't find anything that's digital and made specifically for my Skuttle. Can I install one of the digital one made by Aprillaire or another brand?
