I'm planning to replace my heatpump by a model with a variable speed compressor (inverter) that is
normally controlled by a standard 24vac thermostat. Contractor said me that my Old thermostat work
with this new heatpump.
My old thermostat have six wires as AuxHeat(White), Common(Blue), 24V(Red), ReverseValvle(Orange),
Compressor(Yellow), Fan(Green), it a Honeywell TH8320U that works with différents cycles per hour which
I have to set to 1cph, 2cph, 3cph, 4cph, 5cph or 6cph.
Question :
Is this thermostat it really OK for an inverter heatpump as Gree Flexx ?
If yes, how much cycle by hour it a best for for an inverter heatpump ?
