Weeks ago a contractor came out to my home to replace all the schedule 40 pipes that had been leaking into my ceiling. After completing that, he looked at the outside unit, and evidently forgot to replace the panel. 2 days later we had a sever thunderstorm and I believe the rain shorted out the main board on the unit. I ordered a replacement and installed it, and all seemed well - that is until this weekend when we had freezing temps
How do I determine the correct board that should be here in Houston.
Despite the heater being on and the temperature set to heat well above the inside temperature, I am only feeling cold air through the register. I went into the advanced menu, and it is showing a heat pump instead of the furnace that is installed. My supposition is that I have the wrong daughter board installed from the replacement I ordered.
