HVAC contractor installed new Rheem furnace about 5 yrs ago. The Old AC unit just died, the same company installed a new AC coil and condenser - both are much larger than the old units, (because higher SEER?)
I have the Rheem Econet thermostat and it is showing that the static pressure has gone from .67 to 1.07 with the new coil. The blower is rated to 1.0 so this seems completely out of wack to me.
I realize that that furnace is approximating static pressure - but this seems to be a huge increase, what should I do?
