Correct Thermostat

I am looking to install a new heat pump system with the follow Lennox Equipment. I am getting clarification on the system setup but the thermostat appears to be communicating. My question is will the Honeywell thermostat full utilize the variable speed fan or does this require a Lennox thermostat?

The installation manual references the Lennox S30 and ComfortSense 7000 or 7500. I believe the Honeywell H8321 is communicating but not sure if it would work with proprietary Lennox software.

Instation Manual: This air handler is compatible with the ComfortSense® non-communicating thermostat and non-communicating outdoor units. In addition, this unit has the enhanced capability of communicating with the communicating thermo-
stats and communicating outdoor units using the Lennox RSBus protocols.
