Is it possible to configure this unit to always run the compressor regardless of the actual humidity? The wall control only goes down to 40% so the compressor will stop when its sensor drops to 39%.
The dehu is connected to a smartplug, which in turn is controlled by my smart home system. In normal operation, when one of my sensors reads above 52% it turns on the smartplug. Since the wall control is set to 40% the dehu will start the compressor and chug away until my sensor drops below 52% and kills the power. Im careful to make sure the smartplug doesnt throttle the dehu on/off like flipping a light switch quickly. This works great for controlling my RH and comfort.
My unit is in the laundry room and sometimes I want to make that room extremely dry sometimes for specialty drying and manually turn on the smartplug. Specifically I have CPAP tubing that after I wash them, I want to make sure they are absolutely dry inside before storing. During the summer on a hot sticky day, the dehu will run for hours and it will suck every drop out of the tubing in minutes. But during a cool spring evening the compressor wont kick on because the RH is below 40%
Is there a way to ignore the RH and power the compressor? I couldnt find any specs related to this.
