Not sure how they plan to wire my system. Is there a benefit of wiring the system as two stage from the thermostat versus single stage? I wondering how much I should push for them to add new wire (current wiring only supports single stage since it has only 5 wires). I know the ultimate benefit is using the Lennox S30 thermostat but I do not want to pay the extra $1500 for that.
- Lennox EL18XCV variable capacity compressor
- Lennox SL280 Two stage heat, variable speed blower
- ADP LH42/62W9C evap coil
- using existing Nest 3rd gen thermostats
- new zone controller board
