Hello everyone. I have enjoyed reading all of the great posts here and learning as much as I can.
I am building a new house in Houston -- plans almost complete.
I would like to get a 3rd party for HVAC load calculations and design etc instead of having my builder just do his standard HVAC install.
Briefly it will be a custom 6,200 square foot house with OC foam in the roof as well as 2x6 exterior walls.
I learned about Energy Wise Structures on this forum and have started initial conversations with them.
Has anyone used Energy Vanguard for HVAC design services? I am looking for any recommendation on these vendors or anyone else who people have had great experiences with.
