So it if finally time to change out my 40 year old heat pump. I got a good price from my local supply house. But I noticed the the new heat pump heat exchanger is a copper coil. Do I really need the cupro nickel water coil (12 to 14 week lead time) or is the copper one fine. I have a open loop and my well is about 100 ft down.
Thanks for any advice
