I have a system that recently lost Heat and The technician had to put in a few new parts including new set of heat strips along with a Transformer. he smoked (yes smoked) not one BUT two controller boards because he wired the transformer to 50v instead of 24v. now my damper motors no longer control my zones. He says the Motors on the dampers are stuck but getting the 24v needed to work them. My question is are the result of the damaged damper motors directly from the "mis-wiring" the transformer at 50v instead of 24v and burning up two controller boards.would that pass onto and damage the damper motors? or is this just bad timing and normal breakage of 2 damper motors and time to replace?
thanks for any help and advice
