I have a rooftop packaged Carrier Performance 2.5 ton 2 stage and it makes an oscillation/pulsation sound when running that I haven’t been able to get used to. Is it normal to be able to hear this inside the house with Scrolls? Would a compressor sound blanket help? I’ve heard sound blankets are just for outdoor sound, but I’m willing to try it if it’s possible that it will help dampen the oscillation sound at all.
